M. J. Hayward completes a "Kendal @ Hanover" apartment mechanical & electrical retrofit.
The facilities department for the Hanover, NH-based retirement & assisted living community Kendal @ Hanover recently hired M. J. Hayward to perform a mechanical & electrical retrofit in one of the apartments. In a period of one working day, M. J. Hayward technicians, including a licensed plumber, licensed electrician & EPA-certified hvac technician, rearranged some plumbing, electrical wiring & ductwork to facilitate the relocation of a stackable washer & dryer to provide the apartment's tenants more closet space.

Exhaust project for phase II of "Gile Hill" condominiums in Hanover, NH.
M. J. Hayward has been hired by Ottauquechee Plumbing & Heating (Woodstock, VT) & Estes & Gallup (Lyme, NH) to perform the kitchen & bathroom exhaust scope of work for phase II of the Hanover, NH Gile Hill condominium complex.

Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, VT, a school for aspiring cartoonists, just hired M. J. Hayward again to install various electrical installations. M. J. Hayward has performed a number of mechanical & electrical projects for the unique local school.New rooftop hvac & centrally ducted exhaust systems installed @ N. Springfield, VT's "Holiday Inn Express."
Repeat customer Holiday Inn Express in N. Springfield, VT has once again hired M. J. Hayward for its hvac needs. M. J. Hayward recently replaced a rooftop hvac unit & is now installing three (3) new centrally ducted exhaust systems.

City of Lebanon's IT Room receives humidification & dehumidification.
Earlier this past winter we install an air conditioning system (Lennox) to condition the City of Lebanon's (NH) IT Room. The city soon experienced w/ the humid months that the space also needed to be dehumidified as it is located partially below grade & experiences high humidity even when the set temperature is reached. The city also wanted to ensure the space was supplied w/ sufficient humidity during the dry winter months.
These pics show the air handler (apologies for the ninety-degree turn of the pic), outdoor condensing unit & the pulling of wire to the electrical panels.

To be honored as a Top Tech, the technician must be a practicing technician in the field; must hold NATE’s senior certification (Efficiency Analyst); and must hold at least four other NATE certifications.
“On behalf of NATE, we congratulate these five technicians who have worked hard to continually master their HVACR skills and who have helped to raise the level of professionalism in the industry,” said Rex Boynton, president of NATE. “We encourage all technicians across the country to follow their lead and take steps to seek certification.”
Holding five NATE certifications plus Efficiency Analyst, John Drye has worked at MJ Hayward Mechanical/Electrical Svcs, Inc. in West Lebanon, N.H., for three and a half years. Prior to working for MJ Hayward, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps where he received his initial HVAC training and EPA certification. Still in the Marine Reserves, John works for the Marine for Life Program.
John noted an extra benefit to being NATE certified stating, “Not only does the NATE Certification demonstrate that I am both knowledgeable in my field and take the time to do things right, but the Gas Furnaces test is also accepted by the NH State Fire Marshal’s office when applying for the service technicians gas license (which I have).”

Two "MJH" employees become solar factory trained.
Justin Hayward & Mike Hayward, Jr. recently became factory trained as solar installers & dealers for Alternative Energy Technologies (AET) during a recent Northeast & the Sun Seminar presented by both AET & New England Solar Concepts. AET has been a leading solar manufacturer since the mid-'70s with worldwide installations. AET has teamed up with local distributor New England Solar Concepts to produce effective solar packages to save customers money while providing solid systems.
Both Hayward brothers can assist residential, commercial & industrial customers with the sizing, selling, installing & maintaining of solar thermal collectors & photovoltaic systems for domestic hot water & heating & electrical systems. The current & potential State, Federal & utility company rebates can potentially save customers thousands of dollars & making system paybacks in one-half the standard time frame.
All estimates are free. Standard leadtimes are one-two weeks & MJH can perform all of the work without separately subcontracting out of house.

Lebanon (NH) Housing Authority hires MJH.
The Lebanon Towers elderly housing operated by the Lebanon (NH) Housing Authority will receive a new fire alarm & temperature actuated damper installed by MJH atop the elevator shaft. MJH will be working alongside Otis during this project.
Lebanon (NH) Historical Society hires MJH to install fresh air system.
The Lebanon (NH) Historical Society has hired MJH to install a heat recovery ventilation (HRV) system to be controlled by a dehumidistat to remove moisture from its basement for preservation & better comfort.

MJH @ the new South Cove Activity Ctr in Eastman (Grantham, NH).
Eastman Community Association in Grantham, NH has embarked on an outstanding new South Cove Activity Ctr (LEED-certified) facility that MJH is extremely happy to be a significant participant in its construction. MJH is installing the energy efficient geothermal hvac systems, pool dehumidification system, plumbing, fireplace & kitchen equipment. The building is slated to be ready for use during the summer. Milestone Engineering & Construction is the general contractor for the project. Eastman's project supervisor is the community's mgr Ken Ryder. MJH's project supervisor is John Chaloux.
